Last day of training and Victoria Falls!! (and another candle lit dinner!)

Victoria Falls By Eva Roberts

After being woken up by the sound of the church bells we had breakfast and headed out to coach for the final time.  When we arrived, all the amazing kids were raring and ready to go, all trying their hardest to be picked for the final tournament.  The kids were so cute and even though being exhausted I loved every second of it.
After saying goodbye to the kids, we then headed back to the hotel and ate some lovely cheese rolls (my fave).  We then set off to Victoria Falls and on our way saw a family of elephants.  When we arrived we were greeted by some cheeky baboons trying to steal our stuff.  We then looked around the little markets and of course I bought a lot of things I do not need!  We then made our way down to Victoria Falls through the most beautiful rainforest over all the rocks (Mum would not have enjoyed it!!).  We then saw the bottom of the waterfall and even paddled in the Zambezi.  After taking some pictures and admiring the view we made our way back up to the top viewing points of the waterfall, where I couldn't believe my eyes and just couldn't stop smiling, it was unreal.  (Dad you would have absolutely loved it, but don't worry I took loads of pictures).
After the tiring and amazing time we came back to the hotel and jumped in the not so warm pool and played some cards.  Once we had warmed up after the pool, we then went to a beautiful restaurant under the stars with a candle lit dinner and saw shooting stars and was served some African food (which obviously I loved) (Again Dad you would have loved it).
To finish the wonderful day we are now sitting around the fire, singing songs.
P.S
Miss all my family and friends so much and can't wait to see you all and tell you all about it.

Vicky Falls and Croc For Dinner By Ava Denham

Off to another cracking start today, we were woken up again by Niamh banging on our door and yelling 'Get Up We're Leaving Soon!' as we had slept through our alarms AGAIN!  However soon after we were up and out to a lovely school where we were greeted by a stampede of smiling Grade 4s, all of them gave us all huge hugs which was the perfect way to start the day.  Shortly after, our last training session of the trip was over but....Victoria Falls here we come!
We were all buzzing as we stepped off the bus only to be met by huge baboons.  Before Mr Horrod could even finish saying 'Don't eat any food in front of the baboons' one of them had spotted Maisy's lunchbar and the rest is history!  Lets just say, that the baboons new favourite food are lunchbars!  We went on a really long trek down to the bottom of the Zambezi River where we all dipped our feet into the river, but none of us were prepared for the trek back up to the top.  We all had faces like tomatoes when we finally crawled back up to the top.
After a slightly shorter walk we reached Victoria Falls and it was AMAZING.  We were all absolutely in awe of the sights, it was like nothing we had ever seen before.  Reluctantly we had to pile back into the bus and leave but the fun wasn't over just yet.  We all had fried crocodile for dinner.  To our surprise it tasted like chicken!  And that was an end to one of our last days here.
Lastly but not least, a VERY Happy Birthday to me mam, I love you lots and miss you lots and I may or may not have a special present for you in my suitcase, ok that's it now, Night!
